Events Manager Belfast Full-time, permanent Competitive salary with generous pension contribution An established organisation in the events and venue management sector is seeking an experienced and proactive Event Manager to join its Operations team. This is a hands-on role offering the chance to lead the delivery of a wide range of events, ensuring exceptional client service and operational excellence throughout. As Event Manager, you will oversee the complete life cycle of assigned events, from initial planning through to execution and post-event evaluation. Acting as the primary client contact, you will liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure each event runs seamlessly, achieves its objectives and upholds the organisations high standards. You will also be responsible for managing budgets, producing detailed event documentation, maintaining client relationships and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to improving efficiency, quality, and overall event delivery processes. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination and execution of events Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning and contracted period Manage event budgets, forecasts and operational expenditure Coordinate services and contractors to meet event requirements Prepare event summaries, briefings, risk assessments and post-event reports Conduct site inspections to ensure event spaces meet high standards Promote internal and external services to drive secondary revenue Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures Manage on-site operations, including responding to emergencies as needed Essential Criteria Proven experience in event management within a busy operational environment - ideally 3 years Confident and effective communicator Strong organisational and project management skills Experience in risk assessment and decision-making under pressure Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience producing professional written reports For further information regarding this position, please contact Kelsey at Artemis Human Capital.
