Overview
Heavy Vehicle Service Technician Apprentice role at Scottish Apprenticeships on behalf of North Lanarkshire Council. The apprenticeship provides on-the-job training in the employer’s workshop with a workplace mentor, and off-the-job training typically as a one-week block release at college. You will build portfolios to record training, experience and skills gained throughout the apprenticeship and work towards the Modern Apprenticeship Framework standards for Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, including Core Skills.
The successful applicant will be confident, self-motivated and keen to work as part of a team. An interest in the automotive and engineering industries, with an inquisitive nature and a desire to fix things, are important alongside academic achievements.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
* Must have 5 qualifications at National 5 level, including Maths, English and a Science. Predicted grades will be taken into consideration.
* Interest in working in the automotive and engineering industries; inquisitive nature and a desire to fix things.
