* The post holder will deputise for the Head of Healthcare supporting delivery of strategic goals for the service and those of Feltham A leadership team.
* The post holder will support leadership of a multidisciplinary team alongside colleagues in Feltham A, subcontracted and other partners/organisations paying special and constant attention to ensuring CNWL and Feltham A YOI staff work in an integrated way to develop a 'One Team' approach and actively intervene where silo working practices start to embed.
* Support the Feltham A HoH and team to provide high quality healthcare services that are constantly reviewed to ensure they meet the needs of children in custody, including involving service users and families in planning care and services.
* Operationally manage designated healthcare services at Feltham A to ensure an equitable service comparable to community standards. The post holder is responsible for ensuring the highest quality, evidence-based services are provided.

* The post holder will be an experienced healthcare professional with excellent staff management skills.
* They will support the Head of Healthcare Feltham A in managing and developing the Healthcare team to achieve targeted, evidence-based services in line with policies and procedures.
* The post holder will have direct line management responsibilities for senior staff.
* They will proactively lead healthcare teams to develop services and clinical pathways, such as nurse-led minor ailment clinics, sexual health clinics, and immunisation programs.
* Additionally, they will play a key role in implementing the YOI-wide health promotion strategy and 'Positive Health Programme.'
* The post holder will work closely with the Head of Healthcare to develop and implement an effective healthcare strategy for YOI Feltham A.
* Occasionally, the post holder will deputise for the Head of Healthcare in their absence.
