Join the Army National Guard as a Chemical Operations Specialist and support national security and disaster relief efforts. You will be trained to handle nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) detection and decontamination equipment, assist in NBC defense measures, maintain disaster plans, operate smoke generating equipment, and coordinate emergency responses with civilian personnel.

Through training, develop skills for civilian careers in chemistry, chemical engineering, and chemical disposal. You will earn while you learn, with paid training, tuition assistance, and a regular paycheck. After 10 weeks of Basic Training and 11 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, you will gain hands-on and classroom experience in NBC defense and emergency planning.
