Customer Service Coordinator – Motorsport & Manufacturing | £27,000 + Bonus | Bridgwater
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Coordinator to join a highly respected precision engineering manufacturer based in Bridgwater, Somerset. Supplying to world-renowned automotive and motorsport brands including Porsche, Ferrari, and others, the company is a recognised leader in high-performance sealing solutions.
As part of the Operations team, you'll act as the key liaison between customers and internal departments, managing orders from enquiry through to delivery while ensuring high levels of service are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Process customer enquiries, quotations, and purchase orders accurately and efficiently
Liaise daily with Production and Planning teams to schedule and update customer orders
Provide updates and acknowledgements to customers in a timely manner
Support ongoing customer relationships and represent the business professionally
Work cross-functionally with departments including Technical, Quality, and Purchasing
Follow up on quotes and contribute to performance and delivery targets
Assist in process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
Provide cover and collaboration with the Purchasing & Planning Administrator
Occasional travel to UK-based customers or suppliers (approximately once per month)
Candidate Profile:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service role within a manufacturing environment
Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a professional approach
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel)
Able to work independently and solve problems proactively
Strong team player who is adaptable and eager to learn
An interest in motorsport or engineering is highly desirable
Preferred But Not Essential:
Experience dealing with technical enquiries or working in a sales support capacity
Understanding of supply chains or production planning environments
What’s on Offer:
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Annual bonus: 4%
Working hours: 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday), with an early finish on Fridays
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays
