Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people in their learning? We are looking for a Curriculum Support Assistant to work flexibly across a number of secondary schools in the Rochdale area, delivering pre-planned work to KS3 classes in the absence of the class teacher.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering a future career in teaching, or for individuals with strong classroom management skills who enjoy working with young people.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects to KS3 students
* Maintain a positive and focused learning environment
* Follow school policies and routines
* Provide feedback to teaching staff as required
* Adapt quickly to new settings and classrooms
What We’re Looking For:
* Confident communicator with strong behaviour management
* Ability to engage and motivate students
* Flexible and reliable, with a proactive attitude
* Experience working with young people (school-based or otherwise) is desirable
* A passion for education and supporting student progress
