We are now looking for a Process Technician Bio-AMD for our Operations Unit.
Kemira’s Operations Unit ensures safe, efficient, and sustainable production across our global manufacturing network. We focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
This position is located in Bradford, United Kingdom and is on-site only.
In This Role You Will Be Responsible For:
* Operating the Bio Acrylamide plant safely from raw material delivery to finished product storage.
* Participating in process hazard analysis and hazard and operability studies.
* Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
* Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and production targets.
* Performing routine maintenance, calibrations, and safety checks on process laboratory equipment.
* Supporting emergency preparedness through simulation exercises and performance reviews.
What You’ll Bring To The Team:
* Degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience in chemical or process industry.
* Experience in chemical manufacturing, preferably on an Upper Tier COMAH site.
* Good computer literacy and commitment to continuous learning.
* Ability to work autonomously and follow procedures accurately.
* Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate) or willingness to obtain.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
