Field Service Engineer
Overview
Our client is a Medical Device Manufacturer at the forefront of decontamination technologies within Dental, Veterinary, Podiatry, Tattoo, Lab and Beauty markets. Having been in the industry for over 30 years, they have a large customer base in the UK and are still a growing business. Amongst autoclaves, they also provide dental chairs and many other decontamination products.
In this Field Service Engineer role, you will be primarily be responsible for covering the Greater Reading area traveling to customer sites doing the servicing and repairs of autoclaves and Washer/Disinfectors with full training provided!
Responsibilities
* Performing routine maintenance and repair of products such as autoclaves in the Greater Reading area.
* Maintaining vehicle stock levels to enable effective and efficient servicing of equipment
* Identifying and forwarding sales opportunities to internal sales teams on a continuing basis in line with company procedures.
* Engineer will provide cover to adjacent area, during holiday and sickness periods.
* Understanding customers' needs with respect to Service deliverables.
Person Specification
* A formal qualification in an electro-mechanical engineering discipline.
* Ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues on all levels.
* Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility to ensure the company delivers its commitments.
* HTM2010/HTM2030 experience would be beneficial.
