Bring Your Confidence to the Classroom Hays Education is looking for enthusiastic, proactive Cover Supervisors to support a range of vibrant secondary schools across Northamptonshire. Whether you're an aspiring teacher, a recent graduate, or someone with proven experience working with young people, this is a fantastic way to build your classroom skills while enjoying the freedom of flexible work.
What You’ll Be Doing As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key part in keeping lessons running smoothly by:
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson work in the teacher’s absence
• Keeping students engaged, focused, and on track
• Managing behaviour effectively using school policies
• Ensuring any safeguarding concerns are reported to the DSL promptly
What We’re Looking For You’ll be a great fit if you have:
• Experience working with young people (school, coaching, tutoring, youth work, etc.)
• Confidentmunication and classroom management skills
• A positive, professional attitude
• Flexibility to work across subjects and settings
• A genuine interest in education and helping students succeed
