About the Role:
As a Vaccination Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting and supporting the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service. This service is primarily delivered on-site in schools for children of primary and secondary age, however, we also deliver these immunisations in community clinic settings.
This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with our team to facilitate the smooth continuity of service delivery. You will be accountable for delivering an effective, evidence-based, and competent level of care to patients. Your responsibilities will include assessment, planning, implementation, auditing, and evaluation of nursing practices.
We are looking for a motivated individual who can work within regulatory compliance standards such as CQC, NaTHNaC, PHE, or PHS as applicable. If you have a passion for teaching and staff development, this role may be perfect for you. You will assist in assessing clinical competencies and mentoring clinical staff commensurate with your own competencies. Additionally, you will ensure all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are reported, monitored, and processed in line with organisational policies and procedures.
Your commitment to flexible working across various locations will be essential in ensuring the success of this role. We require someone who can actively contribute to team meetings, support the management of HR personnel, and attend meetings as requested by the Lead nurse.
