We are seeking a dynamic tissue viability clinical lead to drive excellence in wound care and tissue viability across the organisation. The senior clinical role combines specialist expertise with leadership, education, and service improvement. For this role you will lead the development and implementation of evidence-based strategies, influence practice across multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high quality, patient care.

Qualifications
Masters level, or equivalent in Tissue Viability and Wound Therapy (or working towards)
Degree in either Tissue Viability or Community Nursing
Membership NMC
M Level independent prescribing qualification
Minor Procedures including conservative sharp debridement
Advanced lower limb module
Experience
* Experience of managing caseload and delegating to senior staff, junior staff and assistants
* Signification post-graduation experience in Tissue Viability and Wound Therapy Service
* Significant post graduate experience in management of patient's complex wounds
* Experience of participation in service planning and development
* Experience of evaluating outcomes of service
* Evidence of high organisational and time management skills
* Undertaking audit
* Experience of use of diagnostic tests including dopplers
* Evidence of staff management and development
* Experience of writing policy guidelines
* Evidence of teaching and training
* Budget manangement
A recognized teaching qualification
Experience of working in primary care
Experience of sharing knowledge/ developing staff
Experience of managing multiple services
Experience of writing coroners' court / claims reports
Special knowledge / expertise
