What the Job Involves This role involves providing reliable and high-quality administrative and support services to the Children and Young People’s Service within the London Borough of Havering. You will be contributing to the development of the Business Support Team, ensuring effective service delivery and future-proofing processes. Responsibilities include maintaining IT systems, producing analysis reports, delivering specialist support such as minute-taking, and acting as a subject matter expert for corporate functions. You will work as part of a team under the guidance of the Business Support Team Leader and must be ready to support multiple teams and projects with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. Skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT applications Experience in managing and interpreting complex datasets Expertise in at least two corporate functions: HR, Finance, IT, etc. Ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines Strong organizational skills, including meeting administration and minute-taking Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with financial management and report production Commitment to equality, diversity, and data protection compliance
