Job Title: Trainee Teacher Location: Middlesbrough Salary: £100 – £150 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time Are you an aspiring teacher looking to gain practical classroom experience? GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and committed Trainee Teachers to work in schools across Middlesbrough. This role is ideal for individuals currently completing teacher training, considering a PGCE, or looking to build school-based experience before gaining Qualified Teacher Status. As a Trainee Teacher, you will support lesson delivery, gradually take on teaching responsibilities, and develop your classroom management skills within a supportive school environment. Opportunities are available on both a flexible day-to-day and long-term basis. Your Responsibilities as a Trainee Teacher : Support the planning and delivery of engaging lessons across your subject area Lead whole-class sessions under supervision when required Assist with classroom management to maintain a positive learning environment Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups Help assess and monitor student progress Contribute to lesson planning and resource preparation Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and CPD opportunities Follow safeguarding and child protection policies at all times Requirements that we need: A degree in a relevant subject A strong interest in pursuing a teaching career or on the way to becoming a teacher.
