Outsourcing Bookkeeping / Bureau Manager
Full Time (9am - 5pm),
Office Based (Wimborne + free parking)
Salary: DOE £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
REED Practice are working in partnership with a leading independent Accountancy Practice recruiting an Outsourcing Bureau Manager to lead and manage a team of five. Taking the lead you will act as Accounts Manager for client businesses, dealing with all aspects of bookkeeping, payroll, CIS and personnel matters, as well as being able to shape the future of Outsourcing Finance Operations.
What you’ll be doing
* Running to day to day outsourcing team, ensuring every client receives accurate, timely, high-quality financial support.
* Lead and support a talented team of six (Trainee and experienced staff)
* Oversee all client bookkeeping deliverables, from bank recs to VAT returns
* Build strong relationships with clients and act as their trusted expert, Streamline workflows, improve systems, and champion best practice
* Drive onboarding and ensure smooth transitions into our bureau???????
What we’re looking for
* Strong bookkeeping skills and hands-on experience with cloud accounting tools (Xero, QBO, Sage)
* A background in outsourcing, practice, or bureau environments
* Proven leadership skills and a passion for developing people
* Excellent communication and client-management confidence
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach
* The ability to juggle multiple deadlines with ease
AAT Level 3/4 or IAB Qualification is a bonus — but your attitude, accuracy, and drive matter just as much.
