Reeson Education are recruiting for a committed and resilient SEMH Outreach Teacher to work with a specialist provision based in West Drayton. This is a unique and highly rewarding opportunity for an experienced SEMH Outreach Teacher to support students who are transitioning from mainstream school following exclusion and awaiting placement within a PRU or specialist setting.
The provision in West Drayton is seeking a confident and adaptable SEMH Outreach Teacher who can deliver short-term, structured education in the community, at home, or within agreed safe learning environments. This role is vital in ensuring students remain engaged in education and supported during the interim period, while also enabling the school to meet statutory education obligations without immediate on-site placement.
Key responsibilities:
1. Deliver tailored educational support as an SEMH Outreach Teacher
2. Provide interim teaching for students awaiting PRU placement
3. Work with students at home or in agreed community settings
4. Support engagement, routine, and emotional regulation
5. Deliver core subject learning and functional skills
6. Build positive relationships with students and families
7. Liaise with schools, PRU staff, and local authority teams
8. Maintain accurate records of attendance, engagement, and progress

Requirements:
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or strong teaching/tutoring background
10. Experience working as an SEMH Outreach Teacher, PRU teacher, or alternative provision teacher
11. Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
12. Ability to work independently and manage outreach schedules
13. Calm, patient, and resilient approach
14. Full UK driving licence desirable
