Fence Installer — Location: Based in Leicestershire - Nationwide Travel Required. Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per year (Market-Leading Pay). Contract: Full-Time, Permanent. We\re growing our team and are now looking for experienced Fence Installers to join us, working in two-person teams on varied and rewarding projects across the country.
The Role
As a Fence Installer at Charnwood Fencing Ltd, you\ll be part of a skilled two-person team responsible for delivering professional fencing installations on construction and infrastructure sites nationwide. You\ll install timber and steel fencing, hoardings, and access systems (including gates and barriers), working to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Install a wide range of timber and steel fencing, hoardings, swing/sliding gates, and barriers
* Follow agreed method statements, company policies, and client specifications
* Work efficiently as part of a 2-person team, with regular nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays
* Maintain professionalism and problem-solving initiative on-site
* Uphold Charnwood\s high standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
What We\re Looking For
* Proven experience in commercial fencing installation
* Comfortable working on main contractor construction sites
* Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to work hard, including travel and overnight stays
* Essential: CSCS card
* Essential: Full UK driving licence
* Essential: Minimum 2 years\ experience with commercial fence installation
* Desirable (Not Essential): SSSTS or equivalent supervisor training
* Desirable (Not Essential): Experience with cable locating or CAT scanning
