The Role
Permanent Carpenter Multi Trade opportunity Due to continued successful growth, we have an excellent opportunity to join our Fortem team with Amplius Housing repairs as a Carpenter Multi trade. The Carpenter Multi trade covers most aspects of property maintenance and repairs covering a patch in Peterborough, Wisbech, Spalding, Stamford, Oundle down to Huntingdon and St Neots. Therefore travel is essential Core Hours Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm + Generous on call ( Average 1 in every 8 weeks) This will involve carrying out repairs and maintenance to Social Housing properties, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision. The Multi Trade takes ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs, operating within the company Health and Safety guidelines, and remaining within budget and time parameters
The Project
The Carpenter Multi trade Duties will include:
• Completing planned works for responsive repairs and maintenance as per the specification, working in a timely and productive manner.
• Advising Supervisor in a timely manner when other trades are required
• Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects.
• Recording and submitting accurate data using relevant business systems electronic devices
• Affording excellent customer service to client representatives
• Arranging purchase of materials required to deliver the works in a planned and efficient manner
• Comply with safeguarding policy and H&S standards at all times
• Operating within the company's occupational road risk policies and procedures Most importantly, you will be joining a values based business, with our people at the heart of everything that we do.
Essential and Desirable Criteria
The successful Multi Trade candidate will meet the following criteria: Essential criteria: NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent / OR Qualified by experience will be considered Full UK driving licence must be able to pass Basic DBS checks Desirable: Social housing experience
