We are looking to appoint anexperienced, enthusiastic, and caring Teaching Assistantto provideconsistent 1:1 support for a Y2 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASC)who has anEducation, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The right candidate will be:

JOB PURPOSE
* To work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff, inclusive of specific individual learning needs, enabling access to learning for all pupils and assistance and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques.
* It is important that the appointed person complements our existing highly professional team.
* Applicants should be appropriately qualified to Level 2 and have relevant skills and experience.
Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), plus two references, and right to work in the United Kingdom.
