Job Description
We're hiring on behalf of a well-established family office looking for a proactive Residential Portfolio Manager to oversee a growing residential portfolio with a strong emphasis on block management and non-standard leasing structures.
This is not a traditional AST/property lettings role. The successful candidate will bring experience managing residential portfolios where commercial-style leases (e.g. leases with councils, housing associations, care providers) are the norm.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing day-to-day operations across a diverse residential portfolio
* Overseeing block and service charge management, including budgets and compliance
* Negotiating and managing long-term leases with institutional tenants: local authorities, HAs, supported housing operators, etc.
* Working with legal and financial advisors to structure leases that are operationally and commercially robust
* Identifying and onboarding new leasing partners for long-term occupancy
* Supporting the family office’s move away from ASTs to institutional leasing models
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in:
* Block management and residential portfolio oversight
* Negotiating or managing leases with housing partners, care providers, or local authorities
* Working in or alongside a family office, BTR operator, or institutional landlord
Comfortable with:
* Service charge accounts and lease compliance
* Non-AST leases and commercial-style terms (in residential settings)
* A hands-on, relationship-driven management style
Nice to Have
* IRPM, RICS, ARLA or other relevant qualifications
* Experience in supported housing or public-private lease models
