Job Description
Homes & Neighbourhoods are seeking a customer‑focused and self‑motivated individual to join the team. The successful applicant will provide back‑office administrative support to the Estate Caretaking team and assist with the implementation of service charges. The Estate Caretaking Service delivers an effective and high‑quality estate environmental service, supporting Homes & Neighbourhoods staff to deliver a customer‑focused holistic Housing Management Service.
Key Responsibilities
* Deal with ordering, invoices, monitoring and other budget processes within the Estate Caretaking team.
* Distribute work tickets and update systems accordingly.
* Provide administrative support to the team, including setting up and maintaining records and systems (both manual and electronic), typing letters and filing.
* Work closely with colleagues from other council departments to accurately produce service‑charge data, using Microsoft Word and Excel.
The successful candidate will work as a hybrid employee, combining work from home with office locations across Kirklees. Working hours are normal office hours (9 am‑5 pm, Monday‑Friday).
Applicants should hold a full UK, clean driving licence and have a vehicle available for work.
