1:1 SEN Support Assistant – Primary School
Location: Sunderland
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
We’re looking for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to work closely with an individual pupil in a primary setting.
You’ll provide personalised academic and emotional support, helping the pupil feel included, supported and confident in their learning.
Responsibilities include:
• Providing consistent 1:1 support
• Supporting learning tasks and engagement
• Helping manage emotions and behaviour positively
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Liaising with teaching and SEN teams

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
