Job Title: Finance Manager Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home Client Details As a Finance Manager, you will lead the UK finance team, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting in line with statutory and internal control requirements. You will oversee month-end close, AP/AR operations, tax compliance support, and audit coordination, playing a vital role in upholding financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making. Description The key responsibilities of a Finance Manager will include: Lead and manage the UK month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in line with UK GAAP, Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable operations, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, collections and reconciliations, while driving process improvements and automation. Support VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and other statutory tax requirements, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and working with external advisors as required. Prepare and review statutory financial statements for UK entities in accordance with UK GAAP Act as the main point of contact for internal, external, and statutory audits, including preparation of schedules and implementation of audit recommendations. Supervise, mentor, and develop junior finance staff, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growthProfile The successful Finance Manager will be: Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent). Demonstrable experience in a Management Accountant / Financial Accounting role, ideally within a multinational or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and SOX controls. Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Excel. Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
