The incumbent in this role will have full responsibility for the profit and health & safety of the Heidelberg Materials Aggregates plants located within a defined area. The Area General Manager (AGM) will manage and lead a designated team of commercial and operational staff working closely with the customer service team at 1MC.
The AGM should successfully lead the team of Operations Managers, Territory Sales Managers, Plant Production Managers, and Internal Sales Representatives to deliver the area business strategy.
The AGM will develop the sales strategy by creating a clear Market Strategy Plan (MSP) and deliver operational performance measures, improve sustainability, and ensure Capex projects are completed on budget and in time.
