The role
Due to the award of several new contracts, we are searching for a Site Supervisor to assist our site team and help us deliver Social Housing Decarbonisation & Retrofit works for a large social housing client.
As a Site Supervisor you will be overseeing the day to day running of our construction sites, ensuring the safe and effective coordination of works and delivery of projects on time and within budget.
You will work closely with the Site Manager, Liaison Officer and Quantity Surveyor to assist procurement, material take off and programme management of the site from start to completion.
The right fit
* You will have a CSCS card, SSSTS qualification, Basic Scaffold Inspection Qualification (desirable) along with a First Aid at Works certificate.
* You will need basic ICT skills utilising Microsoft Office applications.
* You will have an excellent knowledge of site Health and Safety protocols.
* You will be a confident and capable communicator with the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team.
* You will be able to supervise and co-ordinate the work of site staff, subcontractors & suppliers, fostering collaboration & productivity.
* Experience of working on Retrofit housing projects and knowledge of PAS 2035 is desirable.
* Experience of working within the social housing sector, dealing with both clients and tenants would be advantageous.
* You have the knowledge and understanding of the CDM regulations and responsibilities.
* A full UK driving license is essential.
