Join Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council as a Social Worker. We are looking for dedicated professionals to join our specialist team supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities.
About the role
* Full-time posts (37 hours per week)
* Grade: G9 – Salary Range £42,839 – £46,142
* Named Worker – build meaningful, long‑term relationships with people aged over 25 years who have a learning disability
* Collaborate with social care, health colleagues and other agencies to co‑produce strengths‑based care and support plans
* Promote aspirations, enhance independence, wellbeing and maximise autonomy for service users

Requirements
We are looking for experienced Social Workers who can share their expertise and knowledge. Applicants should be able to communicate verbally in accurate spoken English, complete an enhanced DBS check, and if appointed to posts that require an enhanced DBS clearance, declare any periods abroad and be prepared to provide an Overseas Criminal Records Certificate or Statement of Good Conduct.
