Location: Primary school in Haggerston, London (N1) Schedule: Every Monday, 4:00–5:00 PM, from 22nd September to 8th December Age Group: KS1 & KS2 pupils (ages 6–11) About the Role We are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic Singing teacher to lead our Singing Afterschool Club. The club encourages children to explore their voices, build confidence, and enjoy music through fun and engaging singing activities. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about music, enjoys working with children, and can create a fun and inclusive environment where pupils can develop both confidence and musical skills. Responsibilities Plan and deliver weekly 1-hour singing sessions tailored for children aged 6–11. Teach songs in an engaging, age-appropriate way, encouraging creativity and expression. Incorporate warm-ups, rhythm games, and performance skills into sessions. Foster teamwork and confidence through group singing and performance activities. Communicate effectively with school staff and follow safeguarding guidelines. Requirements Strong background in singing and/or vocal teaching. Experience working with primary-aged children. Ability to engage and inspire a group in a fun, structured way. Reliable, enthusiastic, and punctual. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Right to work in the UK is required.
