We're seeking a talented Buyer to join our clients dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you'll play a key role in managing purchasing operations, building supplier relationships, and contributing to supply chain efficiency. Description of the role: Manage and maintain strong supplier relationships through clear and consistent communication. Raise, track, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement. Negotiate favourable terms and pricing with vendors to maximise value. Monitor inventory levels and proactively prevent shortages or delays. Evaluate suppliers and suggest improvements to strengthen the supply chain. Mitigate risk by flagging and addressing potential backorder issues. Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless coordination across departments. Review and approve invoices, resolving any discrepancies. About you: 1-3 years of procurement experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting. Hands-on use of MRP/ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a plus). Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Previous experience working with cross-functional teams.
