Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational institution. Responsibilities
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
* Teach mathematical concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced topics, ensuring comprehension among all students.
* Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to students who require additional assistance.
* Employ effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment.
* Assess student progress through regular testing and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and share best practices.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
* Engage in scientific research related to educational practices in mathematics when applicable.
* Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and staff regarding academic performance and behavioural issues.
Skills
* Strong proficiency in Mathematics with the ability to teach various levels effectively.
* Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts clearly to students.
* Experience in mentoring and tutoring students, fostering their academic growth.
* Knowledge of behaviour management techniques to support diverse classroom needs.
* Familiarity with special education practices to accommodate students requiring additional support.
* Background in Biochemistry or laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Proficiency in proofreading educational materials for clarity and accuracy.

Pay: £29,027.26-£50,929.72 per year
