About the Role
Hull City Council is urgently seeking a skilled Adult Social Worker to join their dedicated team supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. This role requires experienced professionals who can handle high-level casework and contribute to statutory processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a complex caseload involving adults with learning disabilities, autism, and multiple needs
* Complete Care Act assessments and statutory reviews
* ️ Prepare detailed court reports and Ministry of Justice documentation
* Work collaboratively with health, housing, legal, and community partners
* Uphold best practice and person-centred approaches in all planning
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records using electronic systems
Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration
* Significant experience in adult social care, especially with learning disabilities and autism
* Confident in producing court-level documentation and working within legal frameworks
* Strong understanding of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding adults procedures
* Available to start work next week - immediate availability required!
