Job Title: FM Workplace Technician
Salary Range: £32,841 – £39,798 per annum
Employment Type: Permanent – Fulltime
Location: Wandsworth Town Hall, room 217, SW18 2PU
Shift Time: 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday (may change with notice).
About The Role
You will be supporting the FM Hard Services function in delivering compliant building services to all Wandsworth and Richmond Council Better Service Partnership properties. Provide a mobile first response to non‑technical planned and reactive maintenance tasks, drive between core sites to support opening and closing, assist with wedding ceremonies to ensure a positive experience, and support council meetings by setting up microphones and AV systems prior to the meeting. A positive can‑do attitude and teamwork are essential.
Responsibilities
* Support the FM Hard Services function delivering compliant building services.
* Provide mobile first response to non‑technical planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
* Drive between core sites to support opening and closing.
* Assist with wedding ceremonies ensuring a positive experience.
* Support council meetings with microphone and AV set‑up.
* Demonstrate a positive can‑do attitude and work cooperatively as part of a team.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Experience working as a Premises Manager, Premises Officer, Workplace Technician or a similar role.
* Experience delivering FM Building Services.
* Ability to work with integrated FM contractors and supply chain partners.
* Ability to identify pragmatic solutions to operational problems.
* Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines.
