We’re looking for a Junior Reconciliation Ops Analyst (1 Year Placement) This position offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious student to begin their career! You will be learning about and contributing towards the overall finance function within a fast-paced fintech environment. This placement will start in June 2026, on a fixed-term contract for 13 months. The role Working as part of our Finance Team the successful placement candidate would take on a range of administrative tasks supporting our Reconciliation Manager and team who has responsibility for financial operations. You will be responsible for: Directly assisting in the management and organisation treasury administration, liaising with stakeholders both internally (Collections, Account Managers, Transaction Management) and externally (Bank) Helping collate and input data to build periodic financial reports required internally across the Finance Team Working alongside the Reconciliation Analyst to undertake the loan book reconciliation process, using our in-house tech-built reconciliation tools to solve reconciliation errors Monitoring and assisting the team across operational queries from the business that are received daily Keying and investigating domestic and international payments Assisting the wider finance team with ad-hoc project requests The requirements We look for people who are smart, humble, motivated and who are always looking to improve. Ideally, you'll have: Extremely accurate with an analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills Currently studying at university (preferably in a numerical-based subject area) and looking for a placement/internship opportunity over the year period 2026/27 Be proficient in the use of Excel and Google Workspace Can demonstrate high academic achievement through past results in both A-Levels & current university studies Demonstrates curiosity to use and learn more about AI tools We work hard to make iwoca a place where everyone feels welcome, where you can confidently be yourself.
