About Our Client

We're working with a dynamic and growing business based in Didsbury, seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ledger Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of key AP and AR ledger responsibilities in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of a Ledger Accountant will include:* Managing global accounts payable and receivable ledgers end to end.* Ensuring customers are settling to terms by taking responsibility for chasing and escalations.* Being a key contributor in driving initiatives that improve debtor days and working capital management in general.* Creating and presenting insightful reports including working capital analysis.* Preparation of monthly expenditure vs. budget reviews to ensure correct cost allocation.* Assisting the management accounting team with monthly cash flow planning & forecasting.* Assisting with multicurrency bank reconciliations and month end closing procedures

The Successful Applicant

3. Proven experience managing AP / AR processes end to end dealing with multicurrency transactions
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
5. Excellent attention to detail and analytically minded
6. Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software ideally D365
7. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
8. AAT qualification (or working towards) desirable but not essential

9. £30,000 - £40,000 per annum based on experience + bonus
