Care Assistant Contract £12.71 per hour. Contracted hours: 34.5 hours or 45 hours per week. Pension scheme, Paid DBS, Uniform provided. 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full‑time contract). Shift times: Days 8am – 8:15pm (3 vacancies) / Night 8pm – 8:15am (1 vacancy), including alternate weekends.
Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will support individuals with a range of complex needs, including advanced dementia, mental health conditions and other long‑term health challenges. Your role is to provide safe, consistent and person‑centred care that promotes dignity, independence and well‑being. Working closely with the wider team, you will follow individual care plans and support structured routines, helping to create a calm, stable and supportive environment. You will build positive relationships with residents, understanding their needs and responding appropriately to changes in behaviour or well‑being. This is a hands‑on role that requires patience, resilience and a calm approach, supporting both the physical and emotional needs of residents while ensuring care is delivered safely and consistently at all times.
