Receptionist

Location: City of London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:30-15:00
Salary: £12.21 per hour

The company

They are a well-established solicitors firm based in the heart of the City. With excellent transport links (close to Blackfriars Station and City Thameslink Station) the friendly, professional team supports clients across a broad range of legal matters. They are seeking a reliable, personable individual to join them on a part-time basis at the front desk.

The role

As Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Answering and transferring telephone calls in a professional, friendly manner.

2. Greeting and welcoming clients, guests and visitors to the firm.

3. Managing the reception area and ensuring it remains clean, tidy and presentable.

4. Handling general administrative tasks such as meeting room bookings, post, filing and photocopying.

5. Directing enquiries to the appropriate team member and maintaining the client waiting area.

6. Assisting with ad-hoc receptionista nd administrative duties and support tasks as required.

8. A polite, calm demeanour and ability to remain composed under pressure.

9. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

10. Good IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, Outlook) and willingness to learn firm systems.

11. A flexible, can-do attitude and commitment to providing high quality service.

12. A professional appearance and approach.

13. Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a legal setting
