Head of English (TLR1a – £ 10,174 per annum – full-time – permanent)
Required from September 2026.
We are seeking an exceptional professional with experience of curriculum leadership, and a thorough and comprehensive grasp of the English curriculum from year 7 to 13. The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation, management and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of audiences. As the manager of a large team of professionals, you will need to be insightful and emotionally robust, with both excellent day to day management skills, and the leadership capacity and vision to shape the future provision of English in the school.
The Bewdley School is a Foundation school, so whilst the school is maintained by Worcestershire County Council, the Governing body is the employer.
