Nursery – Bright Horizons Teddies Day Nursery
Salary – £13.26 - £13.47 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
Location – Woking
This role is part time working 10am - 2pm or 11am-3pm Monday to Friday.

We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Teddies Woking Day Nursery
situated in Woking and is located within a 5 minute walk from the town centre which provides excellent transport links using both trains and buses. This nursery is in a local area we have the town centre with lots of coffee shops and also a lovely park which is close enough to allow staff the opportunity to make the most of their breaks. We also have the local village of Horsell just a 5 minute drive away.
The nursery is located in a converted house giving this a warm and homely feel for the children and staff alike. We have a lovely large spacious garden allowing you to extend the learning and maximise the opportunity to use the space and nature area, for staff with a love of outside play.

The Role
As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.
What we’re looking for
7. Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
8. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
9. Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
10. Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
