We're looking for a Senior Digital Account Manager to join Bluestep and take the lead on running high-performing Facebook & Instagram ad campaigns for some of the UK's most loved charities.
You will take a leading role in driving revenue growth, strengthening client relationships, and strategically expanding our digital service offering, with a key focus on Social Fundraising. Building on your experience you will be expected to proactively develop and lead client strategies, manage high-value accounts, and contribute to the overall commercial success of the company.
This role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to influence client decisions, secure long-term partnerships, and mentor junior team members. You will be responsible for ensuring clients receive the highest standard of service while driving measurable growth in revenue and engagement.
Main Responsibilities for the Senior Digital Account Manager
* Owning client relationships: Managing a portfolio of social fundraising clients and understanding their objectives inside out
* Running standout campaigns: Planning, building, and optimising META ad campaigns that deliver measurable results
* Driving revenue growth: Managing annual billing and growth targets
* Strategic thinking: Shaping long-term digital strategies and advising clients on best practice
* Leading innovation: Testing new formats, tools, and trends to keep campaigns ahead of the curve
* Mentoring: Supporting and guiding junior team members with your expertise
* The Bluestep Way: Develops an understanding of Bluestep love and care principles and proactively applies these to clients. Displays a willingness to learn, understands company ethos and builds strong and supportive relationships with colleagues.
Overall, you will be responsible for building long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their success and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. Effective communication, interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of the business landscape are crucial for success in this role.

Senior Digital Account Manager Experience & Knowledge
* University Bachelor's Degree level in a relevant field
* Client-facing experience, loves to get on the phone to speak to contacts and has a natural ability to present and nurture relationships
* At least 5 years' experience in project, account management or a related field (desirable)
* Agency experience (essential)
* Proven experience managing paid social campaigns, with deep knowledge of META Ads Manager.
* Proven track record of developing customer relationships and spend.
Senior Digital Account Manager Personal Skills & Attributes
* Strong client relationship skills - able to act as a trusted partner and advisor to senior stakeholders
* Commercially minded with a track record of driving account growth and hitting revenue targets
* Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, with expertise in META (Facebook & Instagram Ads)
* Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret campaign data and provide actionable insights
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels
* Proactive problem-solver who can anticipate client needs and deliver solutions
* Strategic mindset - able to develop long-term growth plans and align them with client objectives
* Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
* Strong leadership qualities, with experience mentoring junior team members and supporting professional growth
* Adaptable and forward-thinking, staying ahead of industry trends and identifying new opportunities
* Bonus: exposure to Google Ads and a drive to become META certified.
On offer for the Senior Digital Account Manager
* Starting Salary: £42,000 per annum
* NEST Pension scheme (Bluestep contribution of 5%)
* 24 days of Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays (increasing to 29 days upon completion of 2 years' employment)

* We allow one day of remote working each week (increases to two days once 6 month probation period is complete)
* Some travel/overnight stays will be expected
