CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator – Heidenhain or Mazak We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator to join a growing Precision Engineering business supplying into the Aerospace and Defence industries. The company specialises in the manufacture of high-precision machined components and is looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to its skilled engineering team. The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines producing complex precision components for Aerospace and Defence customers. The role will involve working within a fast-paced machine shop environment manufacturing small to medium batch work to tight tolerances. Key Responsibilities: • Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines. • Working with Heidenhain or Mazak controls. • Machining complex precision components to tight tolerances. • Working on 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC Milling machines. • Editing and optimising CNC programs. • Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings. • Carrying out self-inspection using standard inspection equipment. • Supporting continuous improvement and efficient production processes. • CAD/CAM programming experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
