Substantive Consultant in Dermatology
£111,430 - £148,064 per annum pro rata
Raigmore Hospital is the principal acute hospital of NHS Highland, located in the Highlands of Scotland. This substantive 5PA part‑time position offers an opportunity for continued practice in a wide range of dermatology conditions, including clinics for systemic diseases, routine and cancerous lesions, paediatrics, and skin surgery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering outpatient and inpatient dermatology care, including routine, systemic disease and cancer clinics, and paediatric dermatology appointments.
* Providing inpatient referrals and reviews, and delivering advice and guidance to primary care.
* Managing virtual clinics via phone or NHS Near Me and coordinating administrative virtual appointments.
* Engaging in educational and research activities and contributing to the development of sub‑specialty interests.
Required qualifications and experience:
* Full GMC registration and licence to practice.
* Specialist registration for Dermatology or within 6 months of attaining CCT from the date of interview.
