Drain Detectives are a successful drainage company based in Tunbridge Wells with over twenty vans covering the South East of England.
We are seeking an experienced, highly competent, proactive, energetic, full time, enthusiastic and motivated TANKER DRIVER to drive our 7.5 tonne waste tanker.
Applicants must:
* Have an HGV Class 1 or 2 driving licence and MUST hold a valid CPC card.
* Live close to Tunbridge Wells as the tanker will be stored here overnight.
* Must be able to work NIGHTS when required.
* Have experience in a similar commercial drainage role both driving and operating the suction and jetting hose on the tanker.
* Have experience using combination and vacuum tankers to clear emergency blockages and waste sewage from customer sites and dispose of it at the relevant waste site.
* Have experience attending customer sites to diagnose and clear blockages.
* Have experience to lift and replace manhole covers and lay section pipes / hoses
* Know how to keep the tanker properly maintained, reporting any issues to the Operations Manager.
* Have experience working alone and as a two man team.
* Be well organised and have a positive attitude.
* Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work within a team effectively.
* Good communication skills and be confident.
* Adhere to a high level of customer service and company standards.
* Ensuring all jobs are completed in line with H&S policy and guidelines.
