We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Shift Manager to work with our growing food manufacturing client based in Fife. This position has come about due to growth within the facility & the main duties will be to manage the shift ensuring that all products are produced to the specifications and that target and deadlines are met. There are two roles available and one is on dayshift and the other a dayshift/backshift.
The Candidate:
Previous experience in a management role within FMCG is essential
Experience of delivering on KPI's
Assist in site strategy projects
Background in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement initiativesThe role:
Lead and deliver on Continuous Improvement initiatives
To deliver a competent production team through the identification of skills gaps and the delivery of training.
To lead continuous improvement activities within the factory to improve processes and workplace organisation.
