Are you passionate about helping children thrive, no matter their challenges? Do you have the resilience, empathy, and enthusiasm to support a child on a 1:1 basis? Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with behaviours that challenge in a vibrant and nurturing primary school in Stockton.
Your role:
*Provide 1:1 support to a primary-aged child, helping them engage positively with learning *Implement behaviour support strategies under the guidance of SENCO and teaching staff
*Build a strong, trusting relationship to promote emotional regulation and self-confidence
*Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals

* A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above)
* A strong, consistent approach to managing behaviour
* Experience working with children with additional needs is highly desirable
* A calm, empathetic nature and excellent communication skills
* Commitment to a full-time, term-time only position (8:30-3:30, Mon-Fri)
