Job Description
We are working with a West Midlands Local Authority who are seeking an experienced Team Manager – Property Compliance to lead strategic compliance operations across key safety areas including gas, electrical, water, lifts, and asbestos. This role is pivotal in ensuring the council’s HRA-owned domestic and commercial buildings meet legislative and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead strategic management of property compliance workstreams and related projects.
2. Develop and implement compliance strategies for HRA-owned buildings.
3. Oversee cyclical maintenance programmes to ensure buildings are safe, structurally sound, and compliant.
4. Manage contractors and ensure service delivery aligns with compliance, environmental, and energy standards.
5. Monitor budgets related to property compliance and safety.
6. Ensure policies and procedures reflect current legislation and best practice.
7. Represent the Head of Service in corporate working groups and strategic planning.
