Role: Communications & Marketing Manager
Contracted Hours: 40 per week, working Monday to Friday 08:30am – 4:30pm
Location: Fully Office Based Role.Empower Family Group, Unit 2, Prockters Farm Offices, West Monkton, Taunton, TA2 8QN.
Annual leave entitlement: 28 days including bank holidays.
Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 FTE DOE

Are you a creative visionary with a passion for storytelling, branding, and driving engagement? Empower Family Group is searching for a dynamic and innovative Communications and Marketing Manager to take charge of our organisation's communication, branding, and marketing strategies. In this standalone role, reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and elevate our presence across Empower Family Group and its subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver comprehensive communications and marketing strategies that align with our organisational goals.
* Create and manage engaging internal and external communication to market services and share news effectively.
* Develop impactful content to support recruitment initiatives and branding activities.
* Lead and oversee brand consistency across all platforms, ensuring cohesive messaging.
* Plan, execute, and measure multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and traditional media.
* Manage our presence on employment platforms such as Glassdoor and Indeed.
* Craft captivating content including press releases, blogs, newsletters, promotional materials, and video content.
* Organise and participate in marketing events like careers fairs and local shows to promote our brand and attract new foster carers. Some events may require flexibility beyond regular office hours.
* Build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and engagement.
* Oversee our social media strategy and website content management, keeping our online presence fresh and compelling.
* Monitor and analyse performance metrics, offering insights and monthly reports to the HR Business Partner and Directors.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices, bringing innovation to our marketing efforts.

Requirements
Essential skills & knowledge:
* Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a communications and marketing role for an organisation.
* Pro-active and self-sufficient.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, including strong project management skills.
* Logical and methodical.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent IT skills.
* Marketing skills to include use of Content Management Systems (CMS), Canva and proven skills in creating engaging content for social media platforms/ websites etc.
* Discretion and honesty when handling confidential information.
* Ability to work well under pressure and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a team.
* Creative thinker with the ability to translate ideas into actionable strategies.
Qualifications:
Essential:
* The Level 3 Diploma in social media and Digital Marketing qualification or equivalent.
Desirable:
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field or equivalent.
Licence:
* Must hold a full UK driving licence.and have access to a vehicle.
