We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Coach to deliver training and support to learners undertaking our Carpentry Trades into Construction – Level 2 Bootcamp. The role will involve a blend of onsite delivery in DA18 4AL and remote teaching sessions, ensuring learners gain both the technical skills and employability knowledge required to progress into the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and practical training in Carpentry (Level 2).
* Support learners to develop trade-specific skills and industry knowledge.
* Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to ensure learners are work-ready.
* Assess learner progress against programme requirements and outcomes.
* Liaise with internal teams and employers to support learner progression into sustainable employment.
* Maintain compliance with awarding body, GLA, and quality assurance standards.
Essential Requirements
* Occupational competence in Carpentry (minimum Level 2).
* Teaching/training qualification (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
* Experience coaching, training, or mentoring learners in a construction setting.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to deliver both onsite (DA18 4AL) and remotely.
Desirable
* Assessing qualification (e.g., TAQA, CAVA).
* Experience delivering government-funded or bootcamp programmes.
* Strong employer links within the construction sector.
