This is a hands-on IC role at a Series A company that's been running LLMs in regulated financial environments since before ChatGPT existed.
The three founders have between them a Yale Physics degree and quantum computing research, an Oxford Economics prize and a fintech exit, and a commercial track record building a $10M business unit from scratch.

You'll be coming to work alongside a 15-person engineering team. Most are either ex-founders or were early engineers at companies that went on to scale significantly.
The London Staff Engineers have been there since 2022 and hold PhDs from Oxford and Poznan. Recent hires have come from Ki Insurance, Checkout.com, Quantcast, and high-growth AI startups.
Day to day you'll be designing and building backend services in Python, integrating third-party services and AI models, shipping frontend components in React when the problem calls for it, and owning what you build from first commit to production.
You'll work directly with customers, investigate real incidents, and contribute to how the platform evolves architecturally - and you'll ship multiple times
Stack: Python/Flask/FastAPI, React/TypeScript, GCP/AWS/Terraform.
£120,000–£170,000 base depending on level, plus equity.
