Valuation Control JR027714 London We’re seeking a Vice President to join our Model Development Job Family which maintains, implements, develops and documents models for the business units and Finance. As a model reviewer will cover complex products like exotic structured derivatives and corporate equities. The candidate will work closely with strats and traders in New York, London, Hong Kong, as well as model risk management and the local mark review teams. In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. What you'll do in the role: -Use quantitative techniques and market intuition to perform analysis on often novel or unconventional trades -Work with trading and front office quants and risk department regularly on marking methodologies and model framework -Use your financial market and mathematical knowledge to review valuation and risk models while working closely with model developers -Analyze pricing factors in complex financial products and comprehend market movements; impact on the portfolio and firm -Be responsible for managing a team, not only allocating and reviewing the team members; monthly deliverables but supporting their professional development by providing the right opportunities for them.
