The finance team plays a pivotal role in steering our financial strategy and ensuring sustainable growth. What you'll be doing:
* Act as the Finance Business Partner for Stock, Operations, Merchandising, Logistics and New Product Development team
* Be responsible for the monthly management accounts process for Stock and stock related costs, Logistics costs including Warehouse, Postage and Duties.
* Take the lead on evolving a suite of reporting and analysis to the business. Taking initiative to identify gaps in information being provided and turning this into meaningful insights.
* Line management of two Assistant Management Accountants.
* Work alongside the Data & Insights team to improve the timeliness and quality of financial information provided to the business
* Ensure accurate and timely creation of the balance sheet including reconciliations and ensuring adequate controls are in place to safeguard the assets of the business.
* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
* Review accounting/business processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations.
Skills, knowledge & expertise:
* Previous experience in ecommerce, management accounts or similar industry.
* Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA
* Demonstrable track record in a high-growth e-commerce business.
* Excellent analytical skills and strong commercial acumen.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and expert user of MS Excel.
* Proactive, structured, and disciplined approach to work.
* Ability to identify and support ad hoc project requirements.
* Excellent attention to detail, communication, and relationship-building skills.
