A major healthcare organisation is undergoing a transformative digital programme to implement Oracle Health Millennium—a cutting-edge Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.
Your new role
As the EPR Cutover Manager, you will take a senior leadership role within the EPR Programme team. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and executing the Cutover Plan that transitions the organisation from legacy systems and paper-based processes to the new EPR platform. You’ll also lead the early live support strategy to ensure a smooth go-live across all sites.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the cutover strategy and aligning it with programme milestones
2. Collaborating with Oracle Health (Cerner) and internal teams to tailor the cutover approach
3. Managing data migration, system readiness, and integration activities
4. Coordinating validation of data conversion, interfaces, and configurations
5. Designing and running early live support processes
6. Mitigating risks and ensuring minimal disruption to clinical and operational services
7. Acting as a technical lead and expert across stakeholder groups
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
8. Proven experience managing cutover phases for Oracle Health Millennium or similar EPR systems
9. Strong understanding of NHS clinical and operational workflows
10. Exceptional stakeholder engagement andmunication skills
11. Technical proficiency in data migration, system integration, and change control
12. Desirable qualifications such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, or PMP
13. Experience implementing large-scale EPR systems in a healthcare setting is a plus.
14. Knowledge of data protection, cybersecurity, and IG requirements in healthcare environments
