Training Officer (Events) – Maternity Cover

Position Details
* Location: Huddersfield/Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office)
* Hours: 37 hours per week
* Salary: £26,000 Per Annum
* Contract: 12 months – temporary to cover maternity leave

The Role
As a key member of the Quality and Training team, you’ll manage in-person training events from planning to evaluation, ensuring high standards and organizational alignment. You will line-manage a Training Administrator and uphold the quality of member events.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning, coordinating, and hosting training events across the UK.
2. Preparing Associate Trainers with relevant materials.
3. liaising with trainers, customers, and venues.
4. Managing budgets, financial records, and procurement.
5. Supervising a Training Administrator.
6. Reporting on KPIs and training impact.
7. Supporting product development and training needs analysis.
8. Organising NDNATalk and online events with marketing support.
9. Leading customer engagement from registration to feedback.
About You
You’ll be highly organized, confident managing events from start to finish, with strong administrative and communication skills. You should manage multiple priorities and work well with stakeholders, bringing energy and pride to your training delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in training or events management.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong IT skills, including MS Office and databases.
* Ability to motivate a team.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Financial administration and budget monitoring experience.
* Flexible working and ability to travel within the UK.
Desirable
* Experience with video conferencing tools.
* Line management experience.
* Degree in events management or related field.
